What this site collects, where your message actually goes, and what it doesn’t do.
When you send a message here
Every form on this site is the same short form: on the Contact page, on Get Involved, and in the panel the “Start the Conversation” buttons open. It asks for your name, your email, your phone and city if you want to give them, who you are reaching out for, how you heard about us, your message, and an optional box for occasional updates. It is delivered by Web3Forms and arrives as email in info@sephardisparks.org, where it is reviewed by Rabbi Abergel and Rebecca Abergel. Alongside the email, each submission is also saved to a private submission log the site runs on Cloudflare, so nothing is lost if an email goes astray. The Matchmaking page links to a private Google Form run by the Sephardi Sparks matchmaking team; what you submit there (including photo and resume uploads) goes to them through Google, not through this website. Matchmaking submissions are reviewed privately and are never posted publicly or shared with a potential match without your permission. There is no account to create, and nothing is recorded about simply visiting this site.
When you WhatsApp or email
Those reach the Sephardi Sparks WhatsApp and inbox, answered by Rebecca Abergel and Rabbi Abergel. Nothing about them passes through this website.
Donations
Giving is handled by Stripe, on Stripe’s own pages. Every giving button opens a Stripe checkout in a new tab, and card details are entered there. They never touch this site.
Analytics and tracking
There are none. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking scripts, and no cookies set by this site. The one other request every page makes is to Google Fonts, which serves the two typefaces the site is set in.
Questions, or want your message deleted?
Email info@sephardisparks.org and ask. If you want the message you sent (and your details with it) deleted, say so and it will be removed from both the inbox and the submission log.
